Through the generous support of individuals, corporate, and foundation donors, the Koo Foundation Sun Yat-Sen Cancer Center will provide up to five scholarships to employees who wish to advance their professional training with an EMBA from the joint New School-NCCU program. Mid-career employees (aged 30-45 years old) are eligible to apply. This scholarship will cover between 50 to 75% of tuition, with the exact amount to be determined by a sliding scale based on earning potential. 

 

Candidates will be evaluated on academic achievements, professional work experience, leadership and impact potential, health care systems understanding, and English proficiency. The application process is comprised of a written application in English which includes short essays, followed by oral interviews conducted in English for qualifying candidates.

 

The application season opens in September. The deadline to submit the scholarship application materials to admin@newschooltaiwan.org is Monday, September 26, 2022 at 23:59.

Video interviews with New School faculty will be scheduled in late September and notification of scholar selection will occur in end of September. Scholarship awardees will need to submit a separate application for the NCCU EMBA program by mid-October. The scholarship is contingent on successful admittance to the NCCU EMBA program and completion of the EMBA degree within 2-3 years.
