New School - Visionary Leadership Campaign

WHY A NEW SCHOOL FOR
HEALTH CARE LEADERS?

The health care challenges of the future will require collaborative partnerships between leaders in multiple fields. Unlike other professional schools that focus on developing only one type of health care professional (e.g. clinicians, administrators, or information technologists), The New School introduces our scholars to a wide range of health care perspectives starting from the classroom. Each year, we gather a cohort of New School scholars with diverse backgrounds and expertise in health care to evaluate challenges and identify opportunities. We believe that championing a cross-disciplinary approach is integral to initiating and sustaining individual and organizational transformations in health care.

In our commitment to deliver the most cutting-edge training to the next generation of health care leaders, The New School has recruited world-class faculty to teach and mentor our scholars. These expert health care practitioners, researchers, and policy makers hail from a number of premier US-based institutions, including Stanford, UCLA, and the RAND Corporation. Our international faculty members are committed to traveling to Taiwan to train New School scholars in thinking collaboratively and comprehensively about solutions to complex, real-life problems.
